Patentability search is process to identify inventors decide whether invention may be patentable. It involves searching the patent and no patent literature that provides existence of similar invention earlier.

How to perform Patentability Search on your own:

1. Identify relevant keywords for patent

2. Search google and google scholar for similar concepts

3. Use publicly available patent databases such google patent search, USPTO, EPO, WIPO, etc.

4. Identify relevant patent classifications and search patents according to classification

5. Analysing related patents citation might help a lot.
